The design reconciles the acute lack of visual privacy on the site with the resident’s desire for an open, light-filled and convivial home that brings together their family and their friends.
The central courtyard connects the various levels of the house visually and allows natural light to penetrate deep into each of the rooms. It draws ample light, softened by white and wood
surface renders and the rooftop glazing, deep into the basement.

Much of the night-time lighting runs in linear patterns through walls and ceilings following the over all ‘non-orthogonal’ geometry of the house. The glowing streaks through the surfaces become the defining element throughout the spaces. . |
The contrasting colour palette creates a sharp interplay of surfaces and seeks to explore the ‘unconventional’ in luxury.
