PRESTIGE UNIVERSITY

The project is located along the Ujjain-Indore highway. A new typology is created to suit the universities in the Indian climate, with the site fragmented along the central axis. The divisive axis is developed as a central forested “green” with all the built masses oriented along the north-south axis to minimize heat gain.

The central green acts as a multi-purpose public space for collaborative gatherings and outdoor learning. It further flows out to other green spaces between building blocks that act as a personal gathering space for each building.

The central green is framed with a corridor that runs along the built mass, connecting all the departments together.
